The Black & Decker D2030 Iron

It's hard to get excited about home appliances, but alot of people really do seem to get excited about this iron. The Black & Decker D2030 auto-off digital advantage iron is winning many fans with is quality. Let's check it out.

Customer Review:

"I have owned Kenmore Irons, and a top line Rowenta that was recently dropped - replaced by this B&D model. It holds more water than others, there is no gimicky controls - very basic - press the button for the right textile setting and go. The sole plate is smooth - steam is powerful. I iron all my jeans - most come out of the dryer with hard creases - this iron presses them all out. Delicate items - poly and blends - no melting!"

Who this iron is for:

This iron is for anyone looking for somethign reliable. That's it down to a tea. It's got a great weight, great steam and a neat window that lights up to let you know when it's ready to use.

Alot of irons don't steam everytiem you pick it up and you have to jiggle them which can get annoying. This iron steams everying single time you pick it up, just like an iron should.

Another benefit that comes with this is the digital settings, making it very easy to swith between cotton, rayon, ployester etc. It also comes with a styled cup that fills up the iron quickly and easily.

Cons:

  • Honestly there isn't much wrong with it. If anything, some people think it might be a bit heavy. But I'm pretty sure this is to help the smooth glide.
  • Steam dial could be placed in a better place

Anyway in summary, ironing is something that we all do alot of, having a top quality iron makes doing these chores much easier. It comes highly recommended by almost everyone who has tried it and is a very safe bet if your looking for a new iron.

Good to know! Now I heard that steamers are also great appliances to have around... I'm thinking of getting one of those, too! Thanks for the Hub!
